Less and less attention and resources are being spent by the FDA to investigate quality control of foods at larger facilities that are the main culprits of food poisoning. Large industrial farms such as Wright Farms, Hillandale Farms both of Iowa have escaped the diligence of the FDA investigators. Large chain restaurants, large grocery big box stores such as Sam's Club have fewer regulations on the foods they sell and the refrigeration processes in transit between farms and big chain stores are most likely resulting in food poisoning. Transport companies have refrigeration laws in transporting foods across state lines which are not being enforced by the FDA.

I don't know too much about this-- yet.

I do know the FDA is not very effective.

Is it inefficiency-- or actual corruption?

How much is due to the influence of certain large corporations ( with interests in selling unsafe products) on the workings of the FDA?

Why is it that health care, cap and tax, card check, get more attention, than protecting the food supply? Could it be that the administration has it`s own agenda, instead of running the country?

The buck stops at the oval office. He is the boss. He needs to take their porn away from them like the other regulators. Maybe then they will go back to work.
